Get the Look #1 - Living Room

Hello Readers,

Because I worked in the interior design industry, I'm often asked for advice and tips from friends or family on where to find amazing furniture for their homes.

For this reason, I've decided to start a weekly "Get the Look" post, where I will post a popular interior look I have found on Pinterest and put together a product board of local (available in South Africa) alternatives so that you can source the look for your own home!

This week, I have decided to focus on the living room, one of the most important spaces in your home.  Our best memories come from the conversations we have across the coffee table, so it is fitting to give this space the care and attention it deserves!

This living room utilizes a monochromatic palette with geometric patterned textiles and bold framed wall prints.  Black, grey and timber form a timeless palette that is also versatile in that it can be freshened up easily and inexpensively by layering cushions and decorative items relevant to the season's trends.

All of the items in the product board are available to South Africans.  Click on the corresponding numbers to link to the product website.

If there is a specific look you have in mind and want input on sourcing this locally, please comment with a link to the look you love. I will choose one look from all reader's comments which will be explored in next week's post.

Happy furnishing! ;-)

I'd love to hear from you, please leave a comment.
