Let the Good Times Roll!

Hello, peeps!  Here is an update on what I've been up to this past week...

I don't usually blog about fashion and style but wanted to share that I have really been feeling the black and gold trend.  They are my current absolute favourite colour combination for clothing.  I forked out this vintage purse which I purchased a few years ago, which went perfectly with my outfit.  (Pants and Shoes from Woolworths)

I obtained this skull-pin beaut in Paris after visiting actual skulls in the Catacombs last December.  It's my favourite piece ever!  (Jacket from Sportscene)

My hair is currently doing the perfect wave, which means it will be due for a cut soon.  If you are considering going for short hair and live in Jozi, go to Ashleigh at Fugo Salon.  She's the best stylist ever and a really cool gal.  (Hair from God, moulded by Ash at Fugo)

After purchasing our Windsor Chairs, Suhale and I went on the hunt this weekend for a new dining table and bench.  While we were unsuccessful, we stumbled upon a great store in Brooklyn Design Square called Con Amore.  Con Amore is filled with a great mix of antique and eclectic furniture and decor with an underlying theme of richness and narrative.  Think leathers, maps, aviation...  Every piece is interesting and tells a story.

Here are some of the pictures I took in store on Sunday:

I've also been prototyping products in the Winking Plum Workshop.  Here are a few sneak peeks into what I've been developing...

What are they...?  Wait & See what they become!  For more product sneak peeks, be sure to follow me on Instagram - where I document my product progress as I go along.

This is another week for Comedy!  I'll be performing tonight at Acoustic Cafe in Johannesburg and again on Sunday at my favourite gig, The Box in Maboneng. Both gigs are run by my comedy faves, Goliath & Goliath who have shown outstanding dedication to the comedy industry and have given me my biggest shots at comedy greatness!  Here are the details if you want to come say hi & haha:

My sister will be visiting me this weekend and will get to watch me live for the first time ever, which is really exciting!

Other than this, I also have my first home styling project on the burner, which I am very excited about!

Things are falling into place and I am so grateful for all the support I am receiving.  Can't wait to Let the Good Times Roll! ;-)

I'd love to hear from you, please leave a comment.
