Creative App (Art) - Waterlogue

I know it seems like every week I have found my new favourite app, BUT...

Where have you been all my life?!

Waterlogue is an app that transforms photos into watercolours.  This is not your typical cheesy filter and if used correctly can yield beautiful and credible results.

Sure, you can use the app's suggested function to watercolour photographs...

But for a non-painter, like myself, Waterlogue has become a means for me to transform digital art into watercolours, bringing forward a hand made aesthetic to a digital graphic.

Remember this Protea I drew using Adobe Ideas?  Here's how I transformed them in Waterlogue:

Look at these sweet cheeseburgers I illustrated and then transformed on Waterlogue.

Wouldn't those look great on a bistro menu?

Beautiful, don't you think?  I can't wait to experiment more with Waterlogue on illustrations.
What do you like to see in watercolour?
